I've been doing a lot of stuff from Englipedia lately, but this is one I stole from Chad (previous JET) and changed slightly.

This is basically noughts and crosses, but you have to get four in a row.

Introduce the grammar point and demonstrate the game with the JTE.
For example, to go in the centre square you have to say "It is interesting for Doraemon to eat Dorayaki."
The students play in pairs.

After the game, I had students that finished quickly play the game without any English written on the sheet - they had to come up with their own verbs, e.g. "It is interesting for Doraemon to watch TV.". And instead of writing an X or an O, they write "watch TV" in the square.

It was simple and the kids had fun - I think it's a good intro activity before a main activity, but my JTE made me use it as the main one and it was fine.
